Welcome Dear Guest!

I am Gabriella.

I am a gardener and landscape architect.

I have been told I am gifted with green fingers. However it was not so obvious to me for a long time despite the fact that my family has surrounded me with plants from early age and from every possible angle.

My grandfather had a small vineyard, my dad was taking me to his work and left me playing on the edge of corn and wheat fields while he organized the harvest and my mother grew palms which were constantly outgrowing our living room. I also have a brother who dedicated his life to forestry and I even have two florist cousins…what choice did I really have?

I have studied Garden and Landscape Architecture at Corvinus University, Budapest. Oddly enough it was the plants, the flowers, shrubs and trees, which are the main building blocks of garden and landscape that remained so underrated throughout my studies. I have greatly missed from the design process the colour, shape, texture, scent, flavour, structure, and the pattern, THE LIFE of the garden.

This hunger for something different made a landscape architect become a gardener. I have progressively explored this path which has led me to where I am today.

I have been working on my portfolio for nearly 10 years and I have chosen a fragment of my work to share with you.

My understanding of the complexity and beauty of plants, gardens and landscapes has resulted in a unique career. My passion has taken me very far from home and I have been blessed with amazing people, head gardeners, colleagues, clients, friends and family who have been continuously giving me support on my mission to create interior and exterior spaces filled with abundant floral beauties.

Please enjoy the stroll in Gabriella’s Gardens and do not hesitate to contact me to be a part of it.

"Nothing great in the world has ever been accomplished without passion."

Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel
